View Full Version : Foobar vs default music player: differences?

June 23rd, 2016, 08:00 AM
Up until now, I used the default iOS music player. Of course, I'm looking into using foobar as it'a my default player on Windows and Linux desktop.
What I'm interested in: what are the differences between the foobar player and the default Music Player in iOS? Main differences I see:
- default player resumes after call
- foobar can play a lot more codecs
- foobar plays files outside libray

- I think I missed the replaygain support
- And I really like the resume after plugging in headphones

And do you guys know which app uses less power?

Do I miss main differences?
Thanks, Ernst
