I'm using Universal Media Server as UPnP-server and ALAC fails to play when using it. When playing local ALAC or using Kodi everything is ok

I have the same issue with AAC files.
I use Foobar2000 mobile on Android. When browsing the library with UPnP Media server I can see the albums, but not the AAC files.
Everything's ok with AAC files on the phone's storage.
Any solution to fix that ?
Thank you.

I've found how to fix the issue in the UPnP settings on Foobar 2000 on the PC.
In UPnP > Server > Streaming profile
"decoding to PCM" must be set on "never".

It seems Universal Media Server serves M4A with mime type of "audio/mpeg" which is not quite right. This certainly works for other players - relying solely on file names do detect how to decode the presented file - but not for us as we prioritize mime type checks over file name extension checks.
