Hi there, I'm new to this site so I hope I'm posting in the correct forum. I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and foobar2000 v1.3.13.

I have some 24 bit wav files that are 7 channels, and I want to convert them to 24 bit flac level 0. I have tried the conversion and I receive an error message:

1 out of 1 tracks converted with major problems.

I recognize that flac is limited to 5.1 and does not support 7 channel audio. But I had assumed that by encoding to flac, the audio would automatically be downmixed to 5.1. Seeing as how this is not the case, is there a DSP I can download that would allow me to downmix 7 channels into 5.1?
