View Full Version : "Folders containing .nomedia files are now excluded from indexing"

in 1.0.63, you excluded folders containing .nomedia files from indexing. But I still want those folders to be indexed!

Here is why: In each folder, I have a cover.jpg. Therefore, Google would list each folder as a separate image folder in the media gallery, because of this one tiny cover.jpg per folder... very stupid, I don't want this. As a solution, I found that creating a .nomedia file in each folder fixed this issue, so I created a .nomedia in every album folder. But I still need those folders to be indexed by foobar2000 of course. Right now, foobar is completely empty and found not a single album or track. Everything was fine before 1.0.63.

I know, I know (https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/workflow.png). But can you please make an advanced option to still index folder containing a .nomedia file? :)
