    Audio can be cast to the video Chromecast just fine, which is handy since a lot of people have their best sound system hooked up to their TV/receiver. Apps like Google Play Music will display album...

    I'd like to +1 this request, SMB support will increase compatibility with the various NAS units on the market, that may have spotty DLNA support or none at all.

    I've found Quod Libet to be the best player/tagger on Linux. It takes a little getting used to (because it's extremely free-form), but it's the best Linux alternative to Foobar.

    +1 to UPNP/DLNA support. Ideally, it should be implemented so Foobar2000 will be able to stream from a DLNA server to a Chromecast, similar to how BubbleUPNP does it.

    +1 absolutely. The code to implement Chromecasting is rather simple, and especially now with the release of the Chromecast Audio, it's more relevant than ever.
