Support for as many formats as possible
Since it isn't clear from the mobile fundraising page, I wanna clarify it here:
Please, support as many audio formats, as desktop version does.
I'm particularly interested in Wavpack + Embedded cue support.
Fundraisers: please, add your geeky formats below.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
Hopefully, full codec support could be added as plugins by third-party developers.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
I hope we get *.TAK (Tom's lossless audiokompressor) support again.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
Third party plugins are unlikely to be supported by any version that must be acquired through an "app" store.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
How about letting the user download them at their own will? Like retroarch does with it's emulator cores.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
While that may work for Android devices and jailbroken Apple devices, it is unlikely to ever work with vanilla Apple devices or Microsoft devices, as those tend to restrict developers or users from downloading extra code into their signed applications. Also, since we are targeting iOS 6.1 with the Apple version, it will not even support bundled dynamic frameworks, hence no external plugins.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
Oh I see, I was being selfish and forgot about the other platforms.
Ok, then please support as many chiptune formats as possible. I read there is already support for some video game formats so I hope you can write a game_music_emu decoder too.

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
I'd like to voice my support for .mp2. Otherwise, my needs are pretty pedestrian: mp3, FLAC, m4a, ogg. Thanks!

Re: Support for as many formats as possible
Opus, please!
- It's free
- It's considerably more efficient than MP3
- It's somewhat more efficient than AAC
- It's tons smaller than FLAC (who uses FLAC on a mobile anyway? Your phone's headphone amplifier isn't that good, trust me)
- There aren't yet any mobile players which both support it and have a usable UI
- Did I mention it's free?
