Very high CPU consumption on Windows 10

After some play/stop/play iterations, Foobar2000's CPU consumption becomes very high. In some cases, it fully utilizes one or several CPU cores. If not restarted, CPU consumption can be as high as 100%.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with all the latest updates installed.
    Foobar2000: Version 1.0.89, x86 64-bit, Windows Store Package Version 1.3.62, FFmpeg 3.2.4

I can try to provide some more information if needed.

I am seeing the same thing on my Lumia 950 Windows Phone. It consumes about 1/2 of the battery is about 1/2 an hour.

This is certainly new behaviour. It used to be really gentle on the battery.

Problem noted, thanks for reporting. I did test 1.0.89 battery life on Lumia 640XL and Surface Pro 4 before releasing but clearly missed some ill behaviors.

If you can please post full stack traces from the process explorer, of stuck foobar2000-WinRTComponent.Universal.dll threads.

What exact device are you using, desktop/tablet/laptop? I do not seem to get this bug on my machines.

How large music libraries do you have?

    Thanks.

EDIT: Better yet, instead of posting stack traces, use process explorer to create a full dump of the process and send it to me.
I had this bug on MS Surface today but the process died before I managed to attach debugger to it or create a dump file :\ did manage to get some stack traces though, I'm looking over them now.
